Maynard, O'Connor's Newest Associate

 We are pleased to announce that Mark Mitchell recently joined us as an associate attorney.  Mark concentrates his practice in the areas of medical malpractice defense, litigation, torts, and appeals.

 Mark’s prior experience includes clerkships at the New York Court of Appeals and the Appellate Division, Fourth Department.

MOSC Announces New Associate!

We are pleased to announce that Justin W. Gray recently joined us as an associate attorney. Justin concentrates his practice in the areas of contracts, business law, general litigation, real estate transactions and litigation, commercial lending, bankruptcy and creditor’s rights and health law.

Prior to joining the firm, he was an associate attorney with Iseman, Cunningham, Riester & Hyde, LLP in Poughkeepsie, New York, and served as a law clerk to the Hon. Ainsworth Brown, Administrative Law Judge with the United States Department of Labor in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Justin received his law degree from Temple School of Law, his master’s degree from Drexel School of Public Health and his bachelor’s degree from The George Washington University.

Justin was born and raised in the Albany area, and enjoys golf, music and hiking in his free time.

Rob Accepts Goofy's Challenge!

On January 8th and 9th, 2011, partner Rob Rausch participated in the Goofy Challenge – the Disney Half Marathon on Saturday, followed by the full Disney Marathon on Sunday, for a total of 39.3 miles.  Over 25,000 athletes participated in the half marathon and 17,500 run the full, but only 6,000 ran the entire Goofy Challenge .  Despite the challenge of the additional miles, Rob finished both races healthy and strong, and considers it his favorite marathon so far.  This was Rob’s fifth marathon.

Rob participated in the race with Team in Training, to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and personally raised nearly $3,000.  The 1100 TNT members participating in the race collectively raised over $4 million for the cause.  Anyone wishing to support this cause may still do so at the following site:
