Concetta Lomanto on Panel Discussion regarding Medical Evidence

On May 27th, Concetta Lomanto served on a panel at a Continuing Legal Education Program, entitled “Doctors and Their Records at Trial” presented by the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers. Concetta and other members of the panel discussed issues regarding medical experts and evidence, including tips for the effective use of a physician expert, admissibility of a physician’s records, expert disclosure rules and medical issues when an attorney intends to call a physician witness or offer medical records into evidence in a trial. Concetta shared her experience from the perspective of defending hospitals and physicians in medical malpractice cases.

Concetta is a member of the American Association of Justice and has practiced in the field of medical malpractice defense for 29 years.
