For nearly thirty years, Maynard, O’Connor, Smith & Catalinotto, LLP has proudly served as one of the major sponsors of Dancing in the Woods, the annual black-tie gala to benefit the Center for Childhood Cancer & Blood Disorders at Albany Medical Center. The “Melodies Center” is the Capital Region’s primary provider of hospital care to infants and children with leukemia, lymphoma, and other life-threatening blood cancers.
Dancing in the Woods is one of the longest and most successful fundraising events in the Capital Region. Rob Rausch has volunteered in the planning and organization of the event for nearly 20 years, and has been the co-chair of the event since 2011. This year, the event was held on Friday, December 7th, at the site of the former Dick’s Sporting Goods in Latham. With generous sponsorship, and over 1,000 guests in attendance, the event raised over $500,000 to support the Melodies Center.
