On October 3rd, Rob Rausch spoke at a Continuing Legal Education seminar on Appellate Practice. Rob spoke on the topic of “Taking and Perfecting Appeals: A View From the Bar”, and discussed such issues as properly filing an appeal, preparing and assembling a Brief and Record on Appeal, and preparation for oral argument, among others.
The seminar was sponsored by the New York State Bar Association. Speakers were chosen from the Committee on Courts of Appellate Jurisdiction and included other appellate attorneys and members of the New York State Appellate Division and Court of Appeals.
