Since joining Maynard, O'Connor, Smith & Catalinotto in 2008, Adam has concentrated his practice in the areas of civil litigation, including medical malpractice, tort liability, commercial, municipal, education, civil rights, first amendment issues and litigation involving Native American tribes and sovereignty recognition. He also works on trust and estate administration and commercial and residential real estate matters.

Prior to joining the firm, he served as Congressional Aide to Congressman Barney Frank of Massachusetts.

He is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

A member of the New York State, Ulster County, and American Bar Associations, Adam is a graduate of Hobart College and a cum laude graduate of Western New England College School of Law. During law school, he served as legal aide in the office of New York State Attorney General Eliot Spitzer and as student clerk for the Hon. Marie E. Lyons, Family and Probate Court Judge in Springfield, Massachusetts. While at Western New England, he also was a member of the National Moot Court Negotiations Team.

Adam enjoys the outdoors and is active in camping, hiking and kayaking in the Catskills. He is an aspiring gourmet cook who also enjoys brewing beer at home, attending concerts, and gardening.
