Jim has spent his entire professional career at Maynard, O’Connor, Smith & Catalinotto, where he is managing partner.  He leads the firm’s real property practice handling matters relating to acquisition and sale, residential and commercial lending, land use planning, real estate litigation, and title insurance claims. He also manages the firm’s commercial, business, and trusts and estates areas of practice, overseeing a team of qualified attorneys and paralegals who provide our clients with a full range of legal services.

Jim is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of New York. He is a member of the Albany County and New York State Bar Associations, and is a member of the Trusts & Estates and Real Property & Business Law sections of the state bar.  Jim is also a frequent lecturer in the areas of real property and trusts and estates law.

A graduate of Siena College, Jim earned his law degree from Western New England College School of Law.
