For nearly thirty years, Maynard, O’Connor, Smith & Catalinotto, LLP has proudly served as one of the major sponsors of Dancing in the Woods, the annual black-tie gala to benefit the Melodies Center for Childhood Cancer & Blood Disorders at Albany Medical Center. The “Melodies Center” is the Capital Region’s primary provider of care to infants and children with leukemia, lymphoma, and other life-threatening blood cancers.
Dancing in the Woods is one of the longest and most successful fundraising events in the Capital Region. Rob Rausch has volunteered for over 20 years, and just served his ninth year as co-chair of the event. This year, the event was held on Friday, December 6th, at the Vent Fitness building in Latham. With generous sponsorship and close to 1,000 guests in attendance, the event exceeded prior fundraising levels, and raised over $500,000 to support the Melodies Center.
