For over twenty-five years, Maynard, O’Connor, Smith & Catalinotto, LLP has proudly served as one of the major sponsors of Dancing in the Woods, the annual black-tie gala to benefit the Melodies Center for Childhood Cancer & Blood Disorders at Albany Medical Center. The “Melodies Center” is the Capital Region’s primary provider of care to infants and children with leukemia, lymphoma, and other life-threatening blood cancers.
Dancing in the Woods is one of the longest and most successful fundraising events in the Capital Region. Rob Rausch has volunteered for close to 20 years, and has been the co-chair of the event since 2011. This year, the event was held on Friday, December 1st, at the site of the former Kmart in Latham (now owned by Lia Auto Group). With generous sponsorship, and over 820 guests in attendance, the event raised close to $500,000 to support the Melodies Center.
