Jessica A. Rounds, Esq. focuses her practice in the areas of Civil Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Professional and Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury and General Negligence.
Jessica was born and raised in Glens Falls, New York. As an upstate New York native, she attended Adirondack Community College where she earned an associate’s degree in Police Science before going on to SUNY Plattsburgh earning a bachelor’s in Criminal Justice. During both endeavors, Jessica worked full time in the telemarketing and service industries for at least a decade.
Prior to attending night classes at law school, she was a paralegal and office manager for a prominent criminal defense firm in Schenectady, New York. She ultimately gained admission to Western New England School of Law in Springfield, Massachusetts earning a Juris Doctorate while simultaneously working full time as an Accounts Receivables Manager for Pride Convenience and Gasoline.
Leaving the service and commercial trucking industries, Jessica obtained a paralegal and office manager position with a solo practitioner in the Springfield area who primarily worked on the defense of alcohol related offenses. In that role, she worked alongside some of the most prominent attorneys focusing on litigation relative to the alco-sensor/ breath test machinery used throughout the Commonwealth. During that time, she received certification by NHTSA relative to conducting field sobriety testing, passed the Massachusetts bar exam and became an associate with that firm.
Prior to joining Maynard O’Connor, Jessica focused her practice primarily on general litigation. Jessica is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern District of New York and the Vermont Federal Court.
