Kim Goodfriend, supervisor of our secretarial team, is the proud owner of a Persian cat named Rayna who recently celebrated her 4th birthday and was featured in the Times Union newspaper. Rayna is from Shensilvers, breeders of champion Silver Shaded Persian cats, located in Front Royal, Virginia. When she was just a kitten, Rayna appeared in the 2010 issue of Kittens USA magazine after placing 3rd in the “Darling Diva” photo contest. She also placed 2nd in the Times Union Classroom Enrichment Cutest Pet Contest in 2010. Rayna’s favorite toy is a ball with a “bell” in it, which Kim named “Bruce,” after the partner she has worked with for more than 15 years — Bruce Bell.
