Congratulations to our law clerk Tori Deyo, a third-year student at Albany Law School, for winning the annual Donna Jo Morse Client Counseling Competition. The competition involves client counseling and negotiation skills, and is intended to simulate a law office consultation that presents a typical client problem. Competitors are given a brief set of facts, and are then expected to interview and advise the client, elicit relevant information, outline the problem, and propose a solution. Tori and her partner advanced through five rounds of competition and were awarded first place in a final appearance before a panel of local judges and attorneys.
