On May 19th, nine Maynardites participated in the 31st annual Workforce Challenge, a 3.5-mile run through downtown Albany. The Workforce Challenge is the largest race in the Capital Region. This year saw a record turnout, with 9,000 runners and over 400 participating companies. Monies raised from the race supported the Albany Police Athletic League, which builds partnerships among youth, police and the community through collaborative programs.
